my mother board has the onboard audio chip set Realtek ALC888 appearently with an 8 chanel output. Yast says the audio device has ben configured but I can’t seam to get any sounds from the speakers (which I know work). any advice guys?
Check the mixer output levels.
Check that the sound board is configured in Yast > Hardware > Sound. In the same sound configuration panel check volume levels under “Other” buttom > Volumes, specially the Master, PCM and front channels.
