I’ve tried to do
./configure
before installing kpacman 0.3.2 (I’m on OpenSUSE 11.4, KDE desktop). At some point I get
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
. I found on ](http://www.susegeek.com/general/fix-qt-configure-error-qt-qt-30-library-qt-mt-not-found/) a “solution” which does no good - I had to create a symbolic link to
/usr/lib/qt4/lib/qt4
. I then did
./configure -enable-libsuffix=64
but with the same result, same error.
If anyone has any idea, I would appreciate.
You need the development packages for qt4: install qt4-devel. Same goes for other missing headers en libs
I have them installed on my system. What could possibly be wrong?
The program may depend on qt3 instead of qt4. Install packages accordingly. You could also search at software.opensuse.org: Download openSUSE 11.4, maybe one of the devs already has a compiled version available.
I did
kde4-config --version
Qt: 4.7.1
KDE Development Platform: 4.6.00 (4.6.0) "release 6"
kde4-config: 1.0
The qt3 package was on the software repos, but it doesn’t match my kde version. There are packages like “libqt4-qt3support”, but they work for Tumbleweed. I don’t think I can find any compatibility between my qt library and the required ones. Thank you, anyway.
I did not mean you to search for the qt libraries, but for kpacman :). This is the KDE3 repo for openSUSE 11.4: Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_11.4
Another question: are you determined to have kpacman, or are you looking for any pacman game. A search for just pacman gives some results.
I didn’t find kpacman on the Suse 11.4 repo. But I installed pacman. Anyway, I can’t play it in full screen and it’s too cumbersome to have it like that. I’ll just play it online
Index of /repositories/games/openSUSE_11.4 Add this repo for 11.4 , and you’ can have njam and pacman-arena as well.
