problems with ownCloud

Hi there!

I just downloaded Mirall and with it I installed ownCloud on my hosted webspace, the German host server 1&1. The installation process was fine without any error message, I created my user, 10MB of data were added to my webspace and the ownCloud folder was created in my home directory as well. But when I tried to access mydomain.com/owncloud/ through Mirall as well as manually I got following message:

*403 Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /owncloud/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.*

Does anybody know what might have gone wrong? Is there anything else I need to upload or install onto my host server?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Daniel.

P.S.: I’m on openSUSE 12.1

Sounds like a file permissionn issue at a first glance.
Check if the web servers process has access to the generated folder.

Hi arkascha!

How can I check if the web servers process has access to the generated folder? Sorry, mate, it’s my first experience with installations on web servers.

Thanks for your help,

Daniel.
