Problems with main repo oss

The main repo (oss) seem to have problems right now.

http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.1/repo/oss/

You see this if you delete the cache /var/cache/zypp and do zypper ref it just hangs here:

I don’t believe this…

I just tried exactly that, and it worked fine.

But: download.opensuse.org just redirects you to some mirror. The one you get might have problems.
Try to use a specific one, the mirror list is here:
http://mirrors.opensuse.org/

And/or try to disable IPv6 in YaST->System->Network Settings->Global Options. Some users have had problems with the repos in the past with this enabled.

I suppose your Internet connection works fine otherwise?

Sorry, my fault. It was just unusual slow. Took 7 minutes. I was doing a new installation in a vm in a datasenter and it seem like it was stuck and I tested it on my workstation machine.
Maybe it’s picking a very slow mirror.
