So I’ve never worked with Suse before, but I have worked/installed a couple other linux distros before without any problems.
I’m installing on a xeon quad core, some guy in the area built it for us.
Here’s what I did:
-
Checked the install software, and that checked out, so it proceeded to install
-
Used suggested partitioning
-
Installed packages, etc.
-
Sent up reboot countdown, then went to text based reboot and froze
It says:
Loading installed kernel using kexec
Trying to load installed kernel via kexec instead of rebooting
Please wait
And here I wait, and wait, and wait…
suggestions?
