Somewhat of a linux noob here, can get around a bit, but when I start to have issues, the life lines start getting tossed out 
I first tried the easiest solution by going thru yast. That didn’t work. So I did it the hard way, and though it appears the driver is loaded it still shows the VESA display adapter.
Any ideas? I am going to startup a fresh install here in a second, and just try the manual compiling install first. I just can’t figure out why it’s not working.
