Problems installing OpenSUSE 12.1 on an HP laptop

Hi.
I just bought a HP Probook 5330m and i wanted to install opensuse in it.
The laptop in question has no dvd/cd player, so the instalation has to be done by USB.
I followed the instruction on SDB:Live USB stick - openSUSE, and i can use this USB stick in other laptops, but not in this one.
Everytime i insert this usb stick before the bios starts, the bios freezes. I assume it’s cause the bios expects a fat32 fs and this usb has another fs.
So far i managed to install Mint and that virus called windows in it, but at the moment there is no boot loader.
Can someone guide me through an Hard disk install?
Thanks.

Is it using GPT partitioning or uEFI /EFI BIOS?

If so this is a pain
