Maybe I should go back to an earlier version, 11.0 installed flawlessly.
I will ask about the most pressing one for now. I added packman and videolan to the repos with no problem using the information already stored, accepted the cert and proceeding to download the real versions of Amarok and Xine. Problem is nothing can be found at the URL stored by YAST. And since this is YAST, the only way to stop it is a million clicks or dig up the pid and kill -9 it. grrrrr
Anyway the URL seems to be correct but it can’t find any of the packages, even though it lists them. I can download it from my laptop which points to the exact same server.
Any ideas?
Oh sweet, I just downloaded the nvidia driver no problems, and now it chokes on the nvidia repos. Not surprising, and probably not a huge deal, hopefully.
