After the install reboots the computer, all i get is a blank screen with the mouse cursor which can move around freely. And when i go into failsafe the same thing happens, a blank screen withe the cursor.
Ive tried reformatting the drive and reinstalling it (Suse 11.2) and I still get the same thing.
Try booting to level 3
Try doing this:
Tell me what happens
Same thing happens, although after moving my mouse around there appears to be am invisible window which I can change its width and length.
Fancy telling us about your hardware
I have an AMD Athlon 64 2800+ 1.85 GHz, 2.50 GB of RAM with an ATI Radeon HD 3650 video card. Also have windows xp and trying to get Suse 11.2 to work.
Are you sure you followed those 2 steps, clearing any boot text - adding in 3 - then hit enter?
Did you see scrolling text/ Any errors
I did it again, it did not ay any errors but when it was finished smae thing happened except for a scrambled picture at the top, mainly green.
If you are doing this correctly, it shouldn’t have any pictures at all, scrambled or otherwise.

O right, i forgot about the time zones. (Its only 4 pm)
If you are booting to level 3 you should not see any graphics level 3 is text mode.
It does show text but then it resumes the blank screen with the exception of the new scrambled image.
Did you use a CD or DVD to install?
If you used a DVD - have you tried a live cd?
