Problem

Hello to all,

I apologize for the bad English.

I installed suse 64bit on oracle virtual box and it worked seamlessly with cinnamon, it worked for a few hours but on the first reboot began to enter into fallback mode.
I tried to reinstall the system several times with vmware but I have the same problem …

The system specifications are:

Cpu: i7 2600k
GPU: AMD XFX 6870
Ram: 8G Corsair Vengeance

allocated to the virtual machine I have 4G ram and enabled 3D acceleration (128mb max)

Welcome here, but please, please.
Do not use a silly title as “Problem”. Everybody starting a thread here has a problem. You should use a title that tells something about your problem. It should attrackt people who think:“Hey, maybe I can help here”.

Allways tell what version of openSUSE you use. Allways tell the maximum of information, not the minimum.

First of all thanks for the reply
I apologize but I am Italian and I try to minimize the text or google translator translates badly.

Using openSUSE 12.1 stable version …
resolution 1920x1080

If you can change the title

I only know about vmware. Graphics are not fast enough, and gnome goes to fallback mode - nothing
can be done as far as I know.
