Problem with wireless conection

I’m a newbie on SUSE at the first place. I just downloaded, burn a empty dvd a put it on my laptop. I’ve got a few problems, and this the bigger, and most annoying.

Here’s the problem: I’ve got a small domestic wireless web, and I just can’t connect to Internet on SUSE 11.1. I can find my, but when I try to put the password, save a connect, a little gear pop up, spin a little and nothing happens. I try to connect on Firefox and Konqueror, both with no sucsses. If anyone can help me solve this problem I’ll be really greatful.

Thanks.

PS: Sorry about the english. It’s no my main language.

Supply info about the device your trying to connect with and to—>

Getting Your Wireless to Work - openSUSE Forums

My Kernel Driver is: ath5k
And my Driver is: ath5k_pci

I can’t find the “firmware” on the log. It doesn’t exist.

The wierd about that: I CAN see my wireless, I just can’t reach to it.

I don’t know what to do. I read all the manual you sugest to me, but didn’t help me a lot, maybe because I’m a newbie, and don’t have any deep knowledge about SUSE.

If anyone can help me, it would be really great.

Thanks again!
