Hi… recently I have installed wine wine-1.1.9 from opensuse 11.1 installation media and when I tried to run some media players, no sound was heard… when I run the winecfg, I got the following message.

fixme:mixer:ALSA_MixerInit No master control found on HDA ATI HDMI, disabling mixer
What you set under Audio in winecfg? - the test sound doesn’t working even if you have sound.
Alternatively you can start the program with aoss wrapper script:
aoss wine executable.exe
replace the executable.exe with file name or path.
I have’nt made any changes in the default settings… later when I chk, the sound was coming… don’t no how… anyways, let me confirm it…will post details
