Problem with the wireless Plasmoid

hi

I tried the new network plasmoid from the KDE 4.1.87 Version.
I went on like this:
installed, logged off and logged on, set the network (here without a key) and automatic on, logged off and logged on and it worked.
But now I have a Rooter with WPA and now it doesn’t work like the way before.

I tried about 6 times, until I gave up.

I am not sure what the problem is. When you left click the applet, “Manage Connections”, you should be able to add a connection with WPA.

i know, I did it, but nothing happened and I can’t use the networkmanager.

I see. Yesterday’s update killed the applet for me too. It’s now all black, no icon, no connections. I guess we should wait. Please check bugzilla.novell.com if somebody filed a bug already.

I installed openSUSE 11.1 new and I will not install any KDE betas again

Ok, so the network manager problem is solved for you?

Uwe

yes, because I couldn’t switch the plasmoid off
