I think you need this repo
Index of /repositories/driver:/wireless/11.4-update
Then use Compat Wireless from there
Obviously you need a wired connection to do this
See this page
HCL:Network (Wireless) - openSUSE
The above assume you are using 11.4, only you didn’t say…
Ok, you assume good sorry for that
But i dunno what i can do with tjis repo i install compat wireless.rpm?

I’m hoping the OneClick works OK, sometimes they cause problems
Just don’t panic and be patient. I say that because I have to go sleep very soon.
It didn’t work
No i’m back at the situation at the begining of all this

Besides the compat-wireless package, you will also need the kernel-firmware

Are you using kde or gnome?
And you are using network manager to manage the connections?

kasmanit:
kde and Knetwork manager
What version of KDE are you using? I’ve had problems with the KDE Network manager on earlier versions of KDE (even up to 4.6 I think). I would install a network manager plasmoid. I think it was “plasmoid-networkmanagement”.
You can search for it in YAST, and if you can’t find it there, try here software.opensuse.org: Download openSUSE 11.4
Good luck
