Hi, I’m new on Linux. And after a long… rlly long investigation I decided to install openSUSE Leap 15.2 (KDE). The installation was soft (like butter), but when I tried to use the system I have a problem with the app launcher that refresh and I can’t use correctly. There’s a fix that can help me?

P.D. Sorry for my bad english, it is not my native language
Hi. I’m not an expert, but here are a few things you could try:
- Log out and Log in again. Any change?
- Restart the menu and task tray by loading the run dialog with ALT+F2, then typing in box that drops down from top:
kquitapp5 plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell
Then press return.
- Use Yast to add a new test user, and try logging in as a the test user. Do you get the same problem?
If you need any more help with any of the above, then just ask.
Others may know a better solution.
ILL nVidia + nouveau drivers + OpenGL renderer.
Do not use in that blend.
Sorry for not answer before. End of holidays… family going.
Yeah the solution was more easy that I think, sorry my first time on Linux.
The solution if someone need:
1.) Right click on the launcher icon, and on the Edit Applications option, the following window will appear:
https://www.forosuse.org/forosuse/attachment.php?attachmentid=2585&d=1609872631
2.) Once in the window add a separator, save the configuration. I delete the separator and I saved again and it stopped blinking.
Sorry I’m still nervous about this Linux thing. Have a happy new year 2021.
