Problem with screen resolution

Hello!

I have installed opensuse on old laptop Lenovo 3000 N100 with 15 inch monitor.
Maximum resolution is 1280x800.
But when i am dowloading updates, additional confirmation window appears.
And there is a problem for me - that window is too big for my screen, size is from to bottom and the confirmation button is bellow the bottom edge of screen and is not visible and additional confirmation is not possible.
I have no idea how to move or resize that window to make conf. button visible?
Or, it is possible, how to cancel additional confirmation?

I recall this problem with YaST on openSUSE 11.4 with Gnome. Are you using Gnome? The bug was fixed by an update, which you probably haven’t been able to download and install due to the problem you describe. Best way to overcome is to install all your outstanding updates using zypper in a terminal (as root). After that you can go back to using YaST if preferred. You will find documentation/howto on using zypper on the Wiki, where you will find other useful functions for it.

Press the ALT key and keep it pressed, with the left mouse button click
into the too large window and keep it pressed, move the window upwards
until you can see the button to confirm.

That’s a tuff thing to perform with a touchpad, better press alt+F7, then move the window with pad or mouse or the arrow keys and click when positioned. That’s at least how it works in gnome.
