Problem with resolution

When I turned on my computer today, I found that the screen resolution had changed. If I go to change it, it only gives me a choice of two different resolutions. I am assuming this is possibly something to do with my graphics card?

Just wondering if anyone is able to help me.

I’m on opensuse 11.2 KDE.
MY graphics card is an ATI Radeon X800 XL

I’m a bit of a noob by the way.

Have you installed the ati graphics driver from the ati repo? Look in the new user info section for help on enabling repos.
