I have a opensuse 11.1, lamp instalation.
However i cannot execute php scripts
I have the "Include /etc/apache2/conf.d/php5.conf"
activated, i see the libs beeing loaded by the apache daemon (using lsof) but i cannot run the simple phpinfo.
It show’s just as if it was text but not php.
I have suseconfig’s apache section configured correcty.
can anybody help me?

You’re not using short tags are you? I.e. <? phpinfo(); ?> Use the medium tags instead: <?php phpinfo(); ?>
i got the same problem
i restarted apache several times
it still told me if i wanna download it…hummmm…
after hundred times of restarts…it worked…
but i dont know why
“AddType application/x-httpd-php .php”
Restart OS (or apache?)

Make sure that the filename’s extension is .php.
