Problem with NTFS flash drive OpenSuse 13.2

Hello:

I have a NTFS flash drive, when I connect it on Windows everything works fine, but on OpenSuse 13.2 x64 I get the following error:

mount -t ntfs /dev/sdc1 /run/media/leandro/LTMARTIN/
$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 0).
Failed to mount ‘/dev/sdc1’: Input/output error
NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it’s a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the ‘dmraid’ documentation
for more details.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you removed it “safely” from that Windows system?

BTW
Please use CODE tags around copied/pasted computer text in a post. It is the # button in the tool bar of the post editor. When applicable copy/paste complete, that is including the prompt, the command, the output and the next prompt.

Did you try the checkdisk procedure at least? No need to reboot, just
unplug, plug.
