Problem with my sound card

I have problem with my sound card Realtek8890 is model on board.

What is your problem with your sound card?

In addition to telling us your sound card problem, please also tell us what version of openSUSE you are using, and what desktop you are using? ie KDE4 ? KDE-3.5.x ? Gnome ? other?

If you have no sound at all, then please follow the openSUSE audio troubleshooting guide for guidance:
SDB:AudioTroubleshooting - openSUSE

… and if after following that as best you can, you still have no sound (assuming no sound is your problem, and I don’t know that as you did not say so), then please provide more information on your PC hardware/software audio configuration.

To provide more information, then with your PC connected to the internet, please copy and paste the following into a gnome-terminal / konsole:

wget http://home.cfl.rr.com/infofiles/tsalsa && su -c 'bash ./tsalsa'

when prompted for a password please enter your root password. Please try to accurately answer the question on the number of plugs/jacks on your PC (for example my PC has 3 i/o plugs/jacks). When the script completes it will pass you a URL. Please post that URL here.

Also, please copy and paste the following, one line at a time, into a gnome-terminal/konsole and post the output here.
rpm -qa | grep alsa
rpm -qa | grep pulse
rpm -q libasound2
uname -a
cat /etc/modprobe.d/sound

Good luck!
