Problem with Lenovo g505 Broadcom BCM43142

Dear,

I bought new laptop yesterday (Lenovo G505) and I installed last openSUSE 13.2. Unfortunately, WiFi does not work.

This is current status:

Anybody help me?

Are you using kernel-default? Use “uname -a” to check.
The default is kernel-desktop, so you probably would need broadcom-wl-kmp-desktop instead.

All your other output indicates that wl is not found.

If that doesn’t help, post a full list of all kernel and broadcom packages (including version numbers):

rpm -qa | egrep "kernel|broadcom"

Thanks a lot!

Problem was in default vs desktop broadcom driver.
