Hi guys, I’ve updated to KDE factory using the kde-factory repository found here http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_repositories#I_want_to… , I’ve done zypper ref and zypper dup, updated few packages but I’m still on 4.11 instead of 4.13.
Hi,
And how did you determine that you are still on KDE 4.11 ? In order to determine what went wrong, we need some more information.
Using KInfocenter .
Try to choose View->Repositories, select the KDE repo, and click on “Switch system packages to the versions from this repo” above the package list, or run “zypper dup --from xxx”, as described here:
https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Vendor_change_update#Full_repository_Vendor_change
And you need to logout/login of course to fully use the newly installed version.
If that still doesn’t help, please post your repo list:
zypper lr -d
Btw, it should be KDE 4.14, not 4.13…

you could post your repository list. Please run this command in a terminal:
zypper lr --details
and paste it all here, from initial command prompt, to last command
prompt, in a single mouse sweep, and please do so inside code tags (the
‘#’ button in the forum editor).
