Problem with KDE "Add printer"

Just did a brand new install of Tumbleweed 20190717. When trying to add a printer through the “Add printer” module in KDE “System Settings”, it no longer asks for root password and thus halts the installation.

I was able to install the printer through Yast but the KDE module has always been more convenient.

I’ve always found installing via cups pretty painless but always buy printers that support Linux. That sometimes means using a particular HP printer definition file. It varies.
