problem with gmail-plasmoid

Hi, first of all Im new in Linux, KDE and this forum :).

I have a problem using the gmail-plasmoid in a KDE 4.3.5 and OpenSUSE 11.2
I installed it using the Plasma Workspace Addon Installer without problems, after I configured my account I don’t receive any notification. I use the Check mail now and it doesn’t work (of curse i have new mails in my gmail inbox).
Someone knows how to troubleshot this?, where is the plasmoid’s log or something?

Have you considered gmailnotify add-on for FFox

i have a same problem with suse11.3 kde 4.4.4!!!
Do you have a solution?
