Problem with Dell precision T3500

Hello Friends,

I am novice to the open suse and Linux.
! install opensuse 11.3 in a Dell precision T 3500 Intel (R)Xeon (R)W3670 3.2 GHZ, 12M cache.
4.8 GT/s QPI, Tutbo, HT, 6C…With 2 GB nVIDIA Quadro 4000 Dual monitor 2DP and 1DVI DELL ™
Precision TX600…

I found that it is wrking very slowly…
The inetrnet window is getting break when I moving it from one place to another…!!!
What is the reason of these slugginess in the system???

I am great-thankfulll for every suggestions to me

You should know that openSUSE 11.3 is past end-of-life. Try installing a current version.

I change opensuse 11.3 to current stable version, Still the problem is continue…

Is the problem arise due to the Graphic card???

Should I need Graphic card driver to install???

If yes, Then would you please tell me whicn one I need???

I’m not sure why your system is sluggish. You can certainly try using the proprietary nvidia driver, however I’m not inclined to believe this is the cause of your issues with your slow system response.

I’ve found a post from one user that suggests ACPI issues with this hardware, but this was with RHEL4. You may want to take this up with Dell.
