Hello,
I’m unable to view any movies. They’re in these codes: mpga and XvID. Movies look blue. I installed all codes I could find through Yast. How to solve this please?
Thanks,
André Luiz

Tell us if you are gnome or kde
Also, type the following in a terminal and paste result here:
zypper lr
Have a read here
(edit and don’t bother posting zypper lr just install the codecs from the link)
The zypper lr result is below:
andreltr@andreltr:~/Desktop> zypper lr

Using Yast - Software Management
make sure you have libdvdcss from the VLC repo, then disable it
Now go to packman and make sure you have a check mark for
w32codec-all
mplayer
smplayer (if you want a more flexible player gui in mplayer)
vlc
libdvdread3
libmpeg2
now go to the package tab at the top of the Yast GUI and in the drop box select - update all unconditionally
now try video
