Distro version: 13.2
The installation process did not follow the normal sequence; i.e. after package installation followed by re-boot from disk the installation process did not invoke the usual configuration process (including network); possibly something todo with the UEFI boot firmware (first time I have installed on UEFI machine); the upshot of this is that the wireless interface does not work.
Yast=>Hadware Information=>Network Cards: has an entry for Broadcom BCM43142 802.11b/g/n on PCI bus, with kernel driver of “bcma”

I could not find anything related to the 802.11 operation in the boot log; only entry apppears related to bluetooth:
ajw@brokkr:~> dmesg | grep -i bcm43142
3.052913] usb 1-1.7: Product: BCM43142A0
11.404443] Bluetooth: hci0: BCM: patch brcm/BCM43142A0-0a5c-216c.hcd not found
Has anybody got any ideas on how to progress the debug of this problem? Thanks in advance.[/size]
