I have very strange problem now, that didnt show earlier… well, everything works, but it is minor irritation.
What happens: titles of windows flicker when mouse is over, and that minimize & maximize buttons, when mose over, turns to black box. Also, usually when window is not focus, title window is black.
I thought at 1st that it is theme and/or decoration problem, but it is not.
I have 11.3, radeon RV550 (x2300), and kde 4.5, using my custom compiled kernel from 11.2 which works and worked just fine, 2.6.32.2 (new one from 11.3 didnt worked at all for me).
I also saw that it is using radeonhd driver instead of radeon. Good catch, I thought, so I changed in xorg.conf to radeon. Now it is using radeon driver which worked pretty well, but now there was no difference.
I suspect that there is something with KDE 4.5. I didn’t see this problem until I put kde 4.5 from factory. However, it is not the only problem, as even with 11.3’s kde screen sometimes flickered.
So… or there is something with KDE 4.5 or new radeon driver is not good as before in my case.
Ah, I also tried nomodeset at boot, but there is no difference either.
Any suggestions?
