Problem when installing GRUB with openSUSE 11.1 Alpha 2

When trying to install openSUSE 11.1 Alpha 2 with VirtualBox, I get an error when I get to installing GRUB.

GNU GRUB Version 0.97 (640K lower/3072K upper memory)

[Minimum BASH-like editing supported. For the first word, TAB
lists command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible
completions of a device/filename. ]
grub> setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 --force-lba (hd0,1) (hd0,1)

Error 17: Cannot mount selected partition
grub> quit

Here is the details of the GRUB configuration, I think I know what is wrong and I’m rebooting the VM into the restore installed system mode so I can change it (I have made what I think is the problem bold. If this is not the cause please point out otherwise)

openSUSE 11.0.42 - 2.6.26-14
resume=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_VBOX_HARDDISK_VVe2f4c85d-8d2dc532-part1 splash=silent showopts

(hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-14-pae
(hd0,0)/boot/initrd-2.6.26-14-pae
/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_VBOX_HARDDISK_VVe2f4c85d-8d2dc532-part2
0x314

I got if working, I think it had something to do with the partitioning I had, because when I tried to boot for the restore system it keep compinging about how it could not find any Linux partitions on the disk. So I just redid the whole installation this time not using encriped partitions and the installation was able to make it to the second stage with no problems.
