problem viewing videos in Facebook/Twitter in Firefox

For some reason I can’t view videos in Facebook or Twitter when I use Firefox. Chromium works, however. Also there’s no issue with YouTube, just Facebook and Twitter.

I’m using openSUSE Leap 15.2.

I think it has to do with the “libav” packages from the packman repo, but I cannot guess which ones you are missing.

Thanks for the response nrickert. How do I add the packman repo to my list of repositories? [edit] I found something on it via a search, so likely I’ll be able to figure it out.

Use opi:

zypper in opi

opi packman

**Solved! **I enabled the Packman Essentials repository, and install gstreamer-plugins-libav. Thanks to everyone for their help.

I have problems with both FireFox and WaterFox, in general the entire Fox family of browsers. I’m already inclined to reinstall my Windows 8.1 to version 10 or 11. I’m already exhausted, all indications are that there is some kind of incompatibility or virus…
