Problem of VNC connecting

Hello,

I have installed Open Suse 12.2. But when i connected it by using realVNC or ultraVNC from Windows machine, it showed Open Suse’s screen and immediately disconnected me from OpenSus.
i did by using ip:5901
Can you show me how to solve and get remotel access to Open Suse ?

Try port 5900 instead, and you may need to check to ensure that remote
desktop is enabled and that the firewall port is opened.

Hi, I think this is the same bug, Bug #774634. There is something wrong with VNC server. According to what I read on the net, both KDE and Gnome suffer from this bug. This is a bug huge as elephant, I do not understand why OpenSuse 12.2 was released with such a bug, specially if it was known before the release.

It was probably not considered a ship stopper - that’d be something like
a kernel bug that prevented booting.

If there’s an open bug, then it should be under investigation and a fix
should find its way into the update channel.
