Problem in installing speedtouch modem driver

Please Dear ,

I have a problem in the driver of my modem . details :

  • Thomoson speedtouch 330 usb modem ( Gray Color )
  • OS : Opensuse 11.1
  • The Operating system has already recognized the modem . i found it in Hardware components inside YAST Manager .

this is the link of the driver i have downloaded from Thomson Web Site . but i couldn’t install it .

run these two lines in a terminal and copy/paste the results back to
this thread:


cd /etc/ppp/peers/
ls -lha spe*

then, run these two lines and copy/paste the results back…


cd /usr/sbin
ls -lha rcsp*
