Hi,
I downloaded ffmpeg, but it is nowhere to be found in the system. In the applications, neither through the application launcher…
I downloaded it from the Yast, and all the associated apps with it (debuginfo, debugsource, libffmpegdevel…)
Thanks

ffmpeg is not a graphical application and it resides (or is linked-to)
in /usr/bin/ffmpeg so if you run it from a terminal you can see the
options it provides at runtime. Alternatively check the manpage for
more information:
man ffmpeg
Good luck.

It is a console application. CLI.

Why? Do you intend to debug it?

Ok, sorry, maybe I just need some tutorial to know how to use it… But I haven’t found anything yet.

ffmpeg is not precisely “user friendly”, but it includes a manual, and
there are thousands of examples in the net. Also there are several GUI
programs used to call ffmpeg.
There is also a multimedia forum here where they will know more about it, I
guess.
