Problem configuring my webcam

hello guys,
I am absolutely new to linux env. I have installed opensuse 11.2 with KDE desktop on my HP pavilion dv9700 Laptop. But I am having problem configuring my webcam. I have skype installed on my laptop and webcam is working OK with skype but when I run Opensuse program Digikam, it doesnt detect any camera. Can anybody help me solving this problem.

AFAIK digikam supports only digital cameras (still picture). Use e.g. ‘cheese’ program for webcams.
