Problem, cant boot Vista after Installing openSUSE

Hello,
after I’ve downloaded (few weeks ago) the “openSUSE-11.0-DVD-i386.iso” file I launched the installer and then he wanted me to restart the pc. I did and tryed to finish the installation but I forgot the folder in wish i saved the files (you have to tip in the place (e.g. C:\Download\SUSE…)), so i tryed to start my Windows Vista again to luck up, but when i chose Vista for booting, he always starts the openSUSE-installer and so i can’t finish the installation and also i can’t use my pc normally.

Hope you can understand me  (i’m a german student)

Has anyone an idea? A way how i can remove the openSUSE-installer?

Thanks,
Steffen S.

When you stepped through swerdna’s nice thread, Fixing vista multiboot with openSUSE - openSUSE Forums, at what point are you struggling now?

The problem is in the Vista boot database (named “bcd”). Take a look here for what I have found to be the best solution Update from Suse 11.0 to 11.1 - Page 2 - openSUSE Forums.

I have this problem too, After Flashing my BOIS and re-installing the problem was still happening, buy hey… Who needs vista when you have opensuse?
