Problem building Amarok 2.5.90 (2.60 Beta)

I’m trying to compile Amarok 2.5.90 (2.60 Beta) following the instructions here. I’m runnining KDE 4.7.2 (openSUSE 12.1). After

cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfully

completes successfully, I go to the next step :

Any ideas how to proceed from here?

I am in no way fluent with building Amarok, but from what I see it seems that a line of comment is seen as being statements. The line seems to be:

&ged.vertaald;&Rinse.Devries;&Antoon.Tolboom;&Freek.de.Kruijf;&Thom.Castermans;

The first part of which (and the part which triggers the error message) is Dutch for: part(ialy) translated. And followiong that are four definitely Dutch names.

Maybe you should grep through the sources (specialy* index.docbook*) to find that line. It could be possible that looking there you will see the obvious error and can repair it. Finding it or not, I think you should report upstream.

I removed the offending part and it built ok. I have already asked for help here. I will report to them. I guess there were no Dutch speakers over there.

Now I have Amarok 2.5.90 working.

Nice you found it.

Recocnising it as Dutch helped a bit, but reading the error message and then lookin in the mentioned file for the mentioned line is a primary reaction to such an error message IMHO.
