Problem: automatic login cannot be disabled

It is strange, but since I upgraded from 11.0 to 11.1 a few days ago I am having the following problem: system automatically logs in to the same user. Not to the previous user, not to any user…always to the same one.
And yes, I have checked the configuration and disabled the automatic login, several times (it requires root privileges).
I am using KDE 4.2.3
Any idea?

boot to level 3 CLI - login and go su then do

zypper ref
zypper dup

see if you get any updates

Ok, it is fixed now. Thanks caf4926, but it was not a problem with updates (the system was updated).
I was trying to fix it with the KDE control panel (system preferences-KDM) but in fact what I should have done is fix it with YaST2 control center-security and users-groups and users management-users-advanced options…it works perfectly now.

The thing is that YaST conflicts somehow with kde control center. It is a known BUG.

Aha, that explains all, and also explains why I cannot configure the no-password login from KDE, but I can do it using YaST2.
Thanks Bender.
