Printing to a HP printer that isn't in Suse 10.2 lists

I need some help in getting a new HP p1505n printer working from Linux (Suse 10.2 and 10.3) in a Windows / Linux mixed environment.
I will be upgrading the Linux machines to 11.1 (which does include the printer driver) over the next couple of weeks but would like to get the printer running in the meanwhile.
Can anyone help me with what might be the best alternate printer driver to use?

You could try this:
CUPS - Explained - openSUSE Forums

Get the driver directly from HP’s site.
You should use the hplip driver (version >= 2.8.2).
HP Linux Imaging and Printing
Note: I am not sure but I feel that when the printer is on the network (your printer supports it), you can use it without installing any extra driver (just choose the network printer option).
