printing pdf files

Hello,

I know of the threads about acrobat reader and I’m somewhat prepared to leave it… but.

I have often to print pdf files of various sizes, that is smaller than A4 (for example from the “pdfit” firefox plugin). I can print them with acroread, but not with okular, simply because okular do not provide scaling for print.

is there any workaround?

thanks
jdd

You have posted about this twice…

some kind of problem with firefox :frowning: - and I don’t see any way to remove one. To moderators, if you can delete one of the two thread, please do so, thanks

I don’t really have any clues about this topic but saw something about switching the Okular back-end from poppler to mupdf did solve a .pdf viewing issue on an Arch system. How to enable mupdf as back-end for Okular in openSUSE I wouldn’t know, but it might be worth checking up on it; it might be relevant regarding your specific problem also.

well… mupdf is a lightweit viewer not even able to print :frowning:

but I found some clues on okular / kde bugtracker and I will continue the discussion there if necessary

thanks
