Printing Multiple Pages Per Sheet

In OpenSuse 11.1, I used to be able to print multiple pages on one side of paper in both OpenOffice and Adobe Reader but for some reason am no longer able to (perhaps after a software update). When attempting to print from OpenOffice, for example, I am simply not given the option to print multiple pages per sheet, though I am still able to select duplexing.

Does anyone know how I can re-enable this feature?

If it helps, I’m using a Samsung ML-2550.

Thanks,

Jeff

I am not familiar with that printer, but assuming that it has a hardware
duplexer, you turn that on with the CUPS Web interface. Use address
http://127.0.0.1:631 in your browser, select Printers, and Set Printer Options
for the printer you want to change. You should be able to set the options on
that page - at least it works that way for my HP2200d.

Thanks, but I was actually referring to printing multiple pages on one side. I like to print two pages on one side, meaning four pages per sheet when done in duplex.

I’m no longer given the option to print multiple pages per side, and there’s no way to enable that in CUPS.

Thanks,

Jeff
