Printer suddenly stopped working - Different spooler?

My printer, a Samsung ML2010R that was working before using the driver of the Samsung ML2010 all of a sudden stopped working.

I can’t imagine I changed anything between the last time it worked and now. My software raid 0 did die on me (one of the disks did…) causing openSUSE 11.0 to hang. So I had to reboot. And I’m guessing since then it’s having some issues.

When I go to Yast > Printers and select the printer and hit the test page button it comes up with “Unable to print a test page. You are using a different spooler.”

So I thought I’d just hit the edit button and select another spooler somewhere… but I don’t see it mentioned anywhere.

If I need to post more info please do ask.

Axeia;
Try going directly into CUPS at this address:
http://localhost:631/

Choose “Manage Printers”. The printer may merely be stopped.

Is this on the test?

Strange… went to the cups server and it showed up fine so I thought I’d just hit the test page button (same page) and see what happens, and it worked.

Normal printing works as well again… so no idea how it it bugged out on me or why it started working again. Some strange hick-up… oh well thanks for replying, seems to be fine again :X
