All,
For some reason my printer is not enabled at boot and I have to manually enable it every time. Is there a way to have it enable at boot? I’m not sure where the config file is.
I just got a phone call from my mom – she’s having this very same problem. I don’t have an answer yet (I’ll be driving to her house in a week or so and will have a look then). I’m suspecting some kind of hardware issue, since I don’t have that problem with either of my printers. If I figure it out, I’ll post back.
What model printer? What type of connection? (network, usb, parallel port)
Is CUPS running after boot?
