I don’t recall seeing this on previous versions of openSuse (did I spell that right?:)). In fact, I don’t remember this happening before on LEAP 42.1 either. Should I add my user name to the “lp” group? I wasn’t sure, so I didn’t do that yet. After the first print, it didn’t prompt for the password again.

Today I printed something, it didn’t ask for a password. Must have been a one-time thing. I did add myself to the “lp” group, no idea if that’s why. One of life’s mysteries, perhaps…
