I downloaded the cupswrapper driver for my printer (Brother MFC-240C) here:
I tried installing but no luck.(double clicking running package installer)
Error message.
Cant find the PPD file also.
I’ve tried to use other Brother MFC print drivers for substitution in printer properties.
Still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to: Brother Solutions Center : Brother Driver for Linux Distributions
Select your printer model
Install the two rpm files (one click installation with yast-integration in firefox, download and installation in the same step)
your password and click everything on “ok”
the installation is finished very fast
Start your yast contol center and delete all printers
make a new scan and select the “cups” driver
save and exit
done
Someone will remove your post to “help” - “hardware”. This is not the right place in the forum to post hardware-questions! Its for NEWS! 
Edit: Something with your link is not ok…but when you go to the list i posted and select your model “Brother MFC-240C”…you can click on the two files in “rpm”-format. Install both. This works, when you click on “accept” the package installer will load. I tested it. After go to step 7.
