PPPOE Connection Idle Timeout

Hi,
I am connecting internet through PPPOE using NetworkManager Applet which came with the installation. But when the system is left idle for more than 10 minutes Network disconnects automatically. How Can I prevent that?

You need to set the idle timeout to “0”. Default value is 600 seconds (10 minutes). With Network Manager, I’m not sure where the option for that is, but this may help.

I use YAST / Network Devices / Modems to set up my connections, and there is an option there to set time out interval.
