I’m trying to set up a pppoe connection using that pictures tutorial I found searching in forum.
I can ping to ip and domain names so my DNS is correctly working (have to set it manually with yast) but the problem is that I can’t browse websites. Firefox (my case) find hosts but doesn’t go further. It just keeps trying to open it with no success.
Seems that this issue is only about the http protocol as I can use any other internet app. This is e-mail like thunderbird, kopete (not for msn).
I’m also not able to refresh repos (http urls).
What settings do I missing here?
PD: I’m posting here through win xp on virtual machine. Yes it works!
Sorry, I should have asked together with my first question, but you say that can post here (that is also http) from a VM XP running on the same openSUSE that can not do http? Do I understand this corrects? Then this is weird.
