Yes, I noticed those when I checked to see why power-saving wasn’t
working. I thought it great at first - 16 options instead of one - then I
looked more closely, thought the options had strange titles, then saw all
the settings were identical. Seemed a bit pointless.

I’m guessing that these extras have been picked up from, or added to, the
wrong file. When I had trouble with the one and only “performance”
setting going AWOL, I never did figure out where the file was - assuming
it was a file.

Just had another look at the list and it has changed. Nothing I did - it
was just left open. The list is down to 13 but includes a couple of real
ones, “powersave” and “aggressive powersave.” Trouble is, it’s frozen.

Just flipped back to the other desktop, the list is back to 16 and the
two other “real” ones have gone. Good(?) news is that it’s no longer
frozen. I think I’ll go and have a lie down - or a scream - or both!

How embarassing! The “frozen” version was, of course, the one on the web-
page from caf4926. Do’h!
