Hi everyone,

i have KDE 4.2 installed. when i click on battery icon in taskbar, it
reports that some other power application is running.

how do i find and uninstall that other program?

  • disable old kpowersave if you still use it
  • go to YaST -> System -> System Services and disable powersaved
    permanently

if Powerdevil still complains after this, reboot and you’ll be fine
