Power and Network

Hi,
When I plug in the charger, all services using the network do not work and I have to restart my laptop all the time.

Thanks

i do not have that problem…but, i am using openSUSE 11.4 and KDE
4.6.0 with Network Manager and . . . (and, other details are in my sig)

but, i have zero idea if you are using SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop
(SLED) version 11, or openSUSE11.3 or openSUSE 12.1 and Gnome2, or
Gnome3 or KDE3, or LXDE or or or

so, tell us some more about your system (make and model number) and has
this problem always been seen on this laptop (with earlier versions of
SLED or or . . .) or did it just begin after you went from one version
to another, or you went from using “if up” to Network Manager, or after
you modified your power saving settings or or . . .

I’m sorry I forgot to indicate the configurations I use openSUSE 12.1 with Gnome 3. This morning I turned off the laptop-mode service and the problem seems solved. But if there are any other comments or suggestions, you are welcome.

thank you

This may be worth a proper bug report in bugzilla.
