The \set did not do the job for me (but maybe I was simply too tired and
made a typo and got it right in the -v option of psql - easily possible
and the most likely explanation).
But just to be sure mine is 9.1.3, what’s yours?

Seems this is a change I should definitely put into place, since it doesn’t work on your newer version and some time in the future we’re going to be upgrading the system.
